A camping we did go!

This weekend we were able to take the kids camping.  We'd been wanting to go all summer, but we also wanted to wait just about as long as possible to give Camille to grow some before she had her first experience in a tent.

Both kids ended up doing fabulous.  Camille slept very well in the tent, and seemed to enjoy being outdoors all weekend.  If you know Blake at all, you'll know that he was in seventh heaven with all of the sticks, fire rings, and marshmallows around.  As for Nate and me, we enjoyed ourselves too.  We camped at the park where we got engaged, so it was special to be able to hike to that spot once again.  We decided that the weekend went really well- and really, Nate only had to remind me once "why we do this."  ;)

I will leave you, however, with one piece of advice:

As you're backing out of the driveway and feeling that "feeling that you're forgetting something"....  Don't ignore it!  That "feeling" could be trying to remind you that you forgot to pack the bug spray...
