"Death row"

It's time.

It's that wonderful time of the year when plants finally go on clearance, and 

I. CAN'T. HELP. MYSELF.

I'm not a great gardener.  I don't know all that much about it.

But I do LOVE pretty flowers- especially pretty flowers that come back to surprise me every single year.

Happy sigh.

The kids and I were at Lowe's, and I found their garden center clearance cart. 

Another happy sigh.


All of these flowers for (sit down first, people) $7.

 

AAH!!

Yes, they do look kind of sick (I read somewhere where somebody referred to that cart as "death row"), but they've got potential.

AND THEY WERE ONLY $7.  TOTAL.

I'm willing to take the risk.  It'll be more of a surprise next spring.
