Air conditioners and community

Dear God,

Thank you for air conditioners.  I'm fairly certain that this is one of the most wonderful gifts you've ever given me.

Thank you also for such a wonderful community of friends.  Today, most specifically, I thank you for my "mom-friends."  Thank you for surrounding me with such a wonderful group of women with whom I can laugh, cry, pray, rejoice, and navigate all of the ins and outs of being a mom and wife.  May I be even half the blessing to them that they are to me.

Thank you for opportunities to enjoy my community of friends in air conditioned environments.  I'm not sure that there's a better combination during a weather-week like this.
