Take my hand [for] just a closer walk with Thee.

Friends, I think that I saw the sun shining for approximately five minutes today.  It made my heart happy.

Friends, I was talking to the kids' doctor today and he mentioned he had found cancer in one of his patients...a 15-month old.  Stupid cancer...you know how I feel about that.

Friends, there are ups.  And there are downs.  And two years ago today I posted a link to Selah's beautiful rendition of Precious Lord/Just a Closer Walk.

It was my prayer two years ago.  And it's my prayer today...through the highs and lows.

"Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be."
