Big day!
Ever since I decided to open an Etsy shop, I've been reading and reading and reading EVERYTHING that I never knew existed about taxes and rules and laws... I read and read until my head starts to spin, I put it aside, read it again, and keep reading until I understand it (or think I do, at least).
One of the biggest learning curves has been complying with the FTC and CPSIA- government agencies whose jobs it is to make sure that if you sell things (namely if you sell things out of fabric and/or to kids), you do it in a safe, trackable way.
What does all of this amount to?
Buying some fancy labels.
It's important to me to comply with these laws. It's been a lot, but friends....I think I'm there!
And I'm excited!
Doesn't it look official!?
