A beneficial quilt.

Some friends from our church are in the process of adopting their second child, and last month they held a benefit to raise funds to offset their adoption expenses.

I was honored to be able to contribute this little boy quilt to their silent auction.  

The colors!  I love these grays and blues.  They just make a person calm, don't they?  When I put the quilt together I didn't want to "crazy" them up any, so I kept the quilt simple and used horizontal lines.  I think I accomplished my goal- the quilt has a very serene feel- it almost reminded me of the ocean/horizon.
