Springing Ahead!
What a full weekend at the Z-house! (I'm already going to warn you that this is going to be a long post...)
On Friday morning Blake had his 12-month appointment. His new stats are as follows:
Length- 31 inches
Height- 21 lbs. 12 oz.
Friday evening Nate and I got to go out on a date! So fun! You want to know what we did? We ran errands! It was a blast!! I know that it's been a full year since the two of us got to tackle a long list of "to-do's" without number three in tow. It was so much fun to wander around in stores and eat for as long as WE wanted to!
Saturday was the big party... Here are some pictures (compliments of my parents):
We finished out the weekend with a loooooonnnngg morning at church. I snapped this pic of Blake (looking very preppy in his new outfit) and Daddy before we went out the door:
And finally, we celebrated the transition to "big-boy-front-facing-carseat" this afternoon. Blake made sure to coach Daddy. He wasn't sure what to make of the whole process...he was thoroughly confused by Mommy and Daddy making such a big deal about putting him in his carseat, but was thrilled by the inaugural drive into the garage, when he could see Mommy making funny faces at him.
