Eggstreme Eggcitement!
Tomorrow we three Zs are going to take part in Easter For Kids at church. Nate and I got to help out a couple of years ago, and we're looking forward to taking part again.
We help out with a part of the program called resurrection eggs. We hide a bunch of eggs around a classroom, and the different age groups get to search them out. After all of the eggs are found, we talk about what's inside. It's a neat activity, because you get to informally narrate the story of Easter in a way that is tangible even for the little kids.
I wasn't able to find the exact curriculum online that we use, but this one's pretty close.
I was working on putting two sets of eggs together this morning, but I didn't quite finish before Blake woke up from his nap. Needless to say, he had great fun with the extra eggs...
