CRAFT!

I'm pretty sure that I've waited for this day ever since I graduated elementary school.

My kid's first Valentine's day party.

I'm not so big on all of the candy that comes with the valentines, though.  I know it's fun and all, but I DO REMEMBER my very least-favorite days of preschool work:  Halloween and Valentine's day.  Common denominator?  CANDY.

So, the kids and I just had to do a craft project.

We took all of the little broken pieces of crayons that were sitting unused on the bottom of their crayon bin, put them in my heart mold, 

popped them in the oven, and...voila!!

Heart crayons to go with the valentines.  :)
