Oh friends!  It's done!

I'm so, so, so happy!

When I put the blocks together, I had two leftover blocks.  I couldn't immediately think of an alternate use for them, and I didn't want them to go to waste!  In the end, I settled on piecing the back so that they could be included there with the finished piece.

Once I finished the binding I soaked the quilt, used some spot remover, and then washed and dried it.  I don't see any remnants of the blood, and I'm completely in love with the cozy texture that the washing/drying process gave the finished product.

I cannot wait to curl up on the couch and watch some TV while wrapped in this quilt!
