A birthday pin cushion.

Recently I've started to fall more and more in love with cute pin cushions.

And I really really love charm packs.  (Stacks of fabrics that come pre-cut in 5" squares.)

And it turns out that charm packs work really well for making pin cushions.

So it just makes sense, right?

Abby and I made this one as a birthday gift for a quilting friend.

It was difficult to give it up...and I'm thinking I need an excuse to make some more. :)
