Wednesday baking- Cherry Crumb Bars

Tonight's dessert needs to complement ham and cheesy potatoes.  

Hmm....cranberries?  Nah.

Cherries?  Definitely.

I found this recipe for Cherry Crumb Bars online while I was doing some searching.  I hadn't come across one exactly like this before-- the crust is made from a cake mix, butter, and an egg.  Heh.  I figured I'd give it a try.  

While I haven't tried it yet, I can tell you this- it looks and smells very yummy.  Enjoy.  :)
