Confession: I may or may not have grand visions of watching my children win awards on the Food Network someday and hearing them credit all of their success to their dear mother, who fostered their creativity and love for pastillage from a young age (right here the music starts to swell) and encouraged them, even through their many mistakes...

Yesterday Blake made his first rose. He watched what I was doing and tried to copy it (but heaven forbid I help him...).
