Offering...
Lately Blake has been taking notice in the offering plate at church. We have been giving him our attendance card to place in the plate, but after some discussion, we decided to start giving him his own offering. It's never too early to start teaching about giving money to church, right?
Uh...well...at least our intentions were pure. :)
Needless to say, our first attempt at Blake giving offering ended with patient ushers snickering as Mommy and Daddy frantically searched everywhere for the quarter which they had only given Blake seconds before. (Imagine Mommy freaking out, swabbing her son's mouth- her head full of visions of a visit to the ER for chest and abdominal X-rays...).
Alas, the story has a happy ending. We did find the quarter two pews ahead of us after church. No trip to the ER today. :)
