Wednesday Desserts: I do love you Nate, but...

...I really wanted to make something with coconut.

With the exception of the German's cake that I made for DadZ a year or so ago, it's been quite some time since I baked with coconut.  It seems I have a husband who reallllly doesn't like it.  So, what better excuse than when I need to take something to church where I can try a little, and other people will eat the rest? 

I don't know what recipe my mom uses when she makes them, but I hope the recipe I used is a similar one.  I used Eagle Brand's recipe for Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars.  They smell wonnnnnderful (coconut and all).
