They say the darndest things...

Last night at supper Blake and I were telling Nate about the fire drill that we had at mom's group this morning.

Blake- "But was the drill up there by the buzzer thing? Where was it?"
Anne- "No, Blake. A drill means a practice. We had a practice fire so that we would know what to do if there was a real one."
Blake- "So where was the drill?"
Nate- "No Blake, sometimes the word 'drill' means practice. It doesn't mean an actual drill."
Blake- "The drill was plastic?"
Believe it or not (you probably do), this conversation continued as I got up from the table and came over to the computer to record his words as they were still fresh in my mind.  Can you tell we're still very much in a Handy Manny/Bob the Builder phase in our house?
Kids are great.  Frustrating at times...but great.  :)
