Spider cake
Saturday was demo day at Michaels, and we were tasked with doing something Halloween-y.
So...here's my spider. Inspiration came from Wilton's website.
I baked the cake in a Pyrex mixing bowl, and used a heating core in the center (so that the cake would bake more quickly and evenly). I peppered the little guy with black and green tip 18 stars. His head is made out of Rice Krispie treats. His eyes, nose, joints, and feet are made from yellow fondant, and his mouth, of course, is yummy candy corn.
